The NASA SBIR/STTR program is currently closed due to a lapse in government funding. The Proposal Submissions and Awards Management System (ProSAMS) remains available to firms for proposal submissions and contract deliverables.

All critical updates pertaining to the government closure and its impact to the NASA SBIR/STTR program will be provided here. For questions, please contact the NASA SBIR/STTR Help Desk at [email protected]. The Help Desk operates from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.

The NASA Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) program is part of America’s Seed Fund, the nation’s largest source of early-stage non-dilutive funding for innovative technologies. Through this program, entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses with less than 500 employees can receive funding and non-monetary support to build, mature, and commercialize their technologies, advancing NASA missions and helping solve important problems facing our country. Whether your destination is the Moon, Mars, or the marketplace, the NASA SBIR/STTR program wants to help get you there!

America’s Seed Fund is coordinated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), which provides resources and support to the NASA SBIR/STTR program and 10 other participating Federal agencies. The SBA tracks SBIR/STTR awards across the government, provides helpful program information, hosts frequent virtual and in-person events, and offers connections to others in the innovation ecosystem who may be able to help you if you need support outside of the NASA SBIR/STTR program.
